View Full Version : Zephyri's WIP thread

I figured, as I always have two or three, if not more, projects on the go at once, rather than startig threads for each and losing them, I would have one big jolly thread with all my wip work in, then its handy for me to keep tracks on what I'm doing too. And A nice reminder of how I'm coming along on my digital journey!

Here's the Lion-o and Cheetara WIP as it stands currently:

Aaaand.. *gaspshockcoughhorror* An update on my Master and Servant piece, which almost drove me to artistic suicide at one point, but we're friends again now, and I'm relatively happy with how it's going. I could do with some advice on the lighting of the background though, as the colour seems to be a tad monotonous, but I don't want to spoil the sense of texture and lucidity it has in this sketchy state. The snowleopard is heavily referenced in the body, but the head is mostly of my own making. Everything else has a small degree of reference, but poses and general lighting and colour are all off the top of the head.

Here's a 100% size of the snowleopards head, just so you can see it's not quite as neat as it first appears on that whole picture!

All quiet on the western front, then I suddenly remember I have this thread! Thanks for the kind words guys, Elsie, Squib, JM.

The other works are still on the go, and probably will be for some time, but here a glimpse at a quickie I'm on with now, seeing what I can do with just a couple of days, and practicing at faster backgrounds. Original sketch and colour WIP.

very pretty. I like the the gauntlets on the daemon guy. I like your work in process. I like the half-finished look. You should do a half finished work as a final piece. It might be interesting.

I'm loving the horns
