hmmm...this needs some work.

If you squat like that and stay there, there's no point to jumping. You should start the animation with him standing, then show him coming down to anticipate, then jump up. I used to make animation tests and cheat by starting the middle of an action. You learn twice as slow. start from where you would start. You wouldn't squat down and stay there for a minute or so. Maybe that wasn't the intended time you wanted to send across, but that's the message that came across to me because the animation started with him like that.

You have a very good idea of anticipation within anticipation. (Squatting down, and then anticipating again) You just need to do the following:

* move the hips more...the torso really plays only 30 percent in jumping up. The hips create momentum and power.
