Its been a while since I have posted here, but I always visit everyday... always get inspired when I visit.

Anyways, this is what I have been working on for a couple of days now... nothing to special, but I think its turning out pretty good. Just imagine him as a Peter Parker type demon, and... here is the pics :)

Looks good so far. Keen on seeing what you do with the texturing.

Legs look a tad bit short, otherwise good.

I couldn't say why but this really catches my eye. Great design and modelling.

The legs a bit to short eh, i think (i could be very wrong0 it could be that the coat is hanging over his legs a bit, so maybe it gives ithe impression that his legs are short... or, they just could be short :)

I'll see what I can do :)

freaky! Looks really good!

One tiny suggestion that you might want to consider: Why not try and hide the symmetry of the model by making one of the hands different? I mean, keep the same overall look but give it some other features (, add horns, spikes, remove eye? stuff like that)

Ok, so here is an update by yours truely... :evil:

I'm realling working on getting good at texturing, been bothering my good friend Mr. Ben Mathis on helping me get everything straight, also, been looking at B1's texturing skills (prob one of the best artists i've seen, and gotten a pleasure to talk to) and here is what i got...

how many polygons does it have? i like to imagine what if peter parker became hellboy instead of spiderman :D

This is looking really solid. Nice poly usage, and very nice overall style. I agree with DanVL, though, in that some asymmetry would add a lot to the character.

Nice start to the textures, too. :)

Thanks guys, i have put more work into it, but I don't want to put an update out now, B1 is helping me out, teaching me how to use colours to my ULTIMATE ADVANTAGE!! HA HA HA... he he...

Thanks guys though, I am really enjoying learning new things, and hopefully, this will be a nice texture :)

Ha ha, as you can see, i've been studying B1's texturing jobs (thanks for the help as well Ben, hopefully this is turning out the way you told me to do it...) But yeah, he did a quick paint over for me, I think i studied it for at least an hour, then started on this... still have a CRAP load to do on it, but I think it is starting to turn out good :)
