Anyone know why there is not a plugin for messiah and XSI working together? I notice ALOT of interface similarities (way more than Maya)

I don't know why either. Maybe there is something with the XSI architecture that makes a direct link to messiah problematic or (more likely) pmG hadn't yet the time to address that issue. In either case, PointOvenPro also supports XSI, so you can easily use both apps together.

As I recall from the time of the development of the stand-alone version of messiah there was a massive dis-interest from the XSI community about messiah and pmg decided it wasn't worth the development time, at that time, since no one wanted it. Of course the XSI community is very different now then in 2000/2001

Perhaps there is enough interest now. Let pmg know.

Taken from the pmG website's FAQ page:

Will there be an animation connection to SoftImage XSI and other apps?
While we have included connections to Maya, 3DS max, Cinema 4D, & LightWave in the base package, it is not very practical for us to develop and maintain connections to all popular apps and the different versions of those apps. However, we do have an animationHost API that allows anyone to connect messiah to virtually any app that has a capable plug-in API.
