View Full Version : Beginner looking for critique

Enviroment: Mission Entrance

I am in a 3d art and animation class and I just started, so I was seeing if anyone would want to critique how this model is coming along. The object is for a Mission Level. Inspiration comes from the recent completion of GUN. The program being used is Max 7. Texturing was just done on the front. I plan to do a Multi/Sub texture and Map the UV Coordinates. The model has 932 triangles with a limit of 1,000. A critque I'm looking for is tips about how to improve the model (not so much the texture). Critiques on the textures are appreciated though.

If you could post bigger pictures it would help :)

About the model : I think you can save some polys on the top, making it a little less rounded and use then to add some more details to the walls... They're pretty flat right now.
