i know i should be killed for this, but i couldn resist, i started making a scrab
i thought i could have some practise in lowpoly modeling...

what do u think, is it worh going on?

haha, this is great man. brings back many oddworld memories :). this is definetly worth finishing. if for no other reason than i wanna see him textured :P. keep it up :)

Just hinking about how he or it would walk. He is quite front heavy, so his front legs could be pulled forward and beefed up to keep his centre of gravity back?

Is it worth going on? Depends what you want out of it. As a portfolio piece, as my tutotrs keep sayin, its unbridaled creativity which doesnt go down well with employers unless you can justify all of your designs with a universe, biology, story etc,etc,,blah blah blah. For a bit of fun and practice, sure why the hell not.

i started with "skinning" and made a normalmap
i know, it needs more details, but without zbrush it could take a while getting it that way i want...

Edit: hahaha, these realtime viewers are sick (looks much better, i think)

i made a rig and did some anims

i already made a skin for it, but i only have realtime shots (this bump viewer is a bit buggy at the normalmap)
i just saw, that the color sheme doesnt fit, ill correct this later
