View Full Version : 3ds max composing object+shadow

In 3ds max4,I want to render a targa sequence where only the object and its shadow on the floor are solid, the rest of the floor and background, I want them part of the alpha channel in order to be transparent for later should i do? :0
Afterwards Ill convert this sequence into a giff animated in Premier, for later use in the web...
Any suggestions? am I clear? hehe I hope

if they are separate objects you could just delete them :D

to get only a shadow on the floor though, use the shadow/matte material.

if you use combustion you could render to passes what you need and delete what you don't
