View Full Version : FG and objects' primary visibility

i'm having difficulty with a mental ray FG render and an object's primary visibility. my scene has one directional light with raytraced shadow, and a huge ball being used for reflections. while the light and shadows get through the ball, FG rays from the camera's background color do not, which i don't understand because i disabled FG cast and receive on the ball. i know there are other ways to do this but i want to see if this is possible first.
