"George Lucas' VFX company Industrial Light & Magic will receive the 2004 National Medal of Technology, along with two individuals and four other companies. The award is given out by the Dept. of Commerce and given annually by the president, is the country's highest honor for innovation.

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos M. Gutierrez yesterday congratulated the recipients of the nationís highest honor for technological innovation. "

Yes, congrats to ILM! :applause: But I hope they continue to work on more movies and not become seduced by the world of government and politics!
