View Full Version : Turning with Motin Defore

This is probably a dumb question, but I'm stumped. I just put together a walk cycle for a monk walking with a cane. It's all set up, cycled, and deformed to a path using motion deform. After some trouble, I got the cane working on the pather properly, etc..

However, I now have the problem that when the character turns around a corner, his feet get out of sync so that he's walking with a weird shuffling pattern. Essentially, it just looks like the footsteps are placed at regular intervals along the curve, not based on the positions of the control points. So after a 90 degree turn, he walks like Igor until he turns 90 degrees in the opposite direction. I haven't found anything on this online or in the manual. Anyone have any suggestions?
