View Full Version : exporting constraint driven animation ?

i have a problem when i import the animation file back into Cinema 4D

i just rigged a character and paired him with a bicycle i modeled. I have used rotation and position constraints. The bicycle crank rotation drive the ankle effectors that animate the legs properly.

in MB both bike and character looks great and works fine but when i export the animation and merge it into C4D the character pedals like he should but the bike remains static. what have i done wrong with the bike in MB ?

try plotting all properties (Key Controls/Animation/Plot all properties)
before exporting it back. It sould do the keyframes for all parts that were
driven by constraints.
