Hi - playing with the 9.5 demo (still on 8,5 at the mo).

Am I correct in thinking that I could "bake" the lighting of this set-up to textures for example..

..and then render an animation in rapid-fashion!? One thing I am concerned about is that I tend to model in other apps, does the baker require uv maps or will it work quite happily with just standard "flat" mapping?

ok - getting somewhere now, it seems to me that baking objects individually gives greater control over resolution so logos look crisp ect..
