View Full Version : Rendering an animation with mental ray?

Is it possible and if, how?? I've searched the forums and all I get is that you have to render frame by frame and then export it to for example after effects... but there has to be some other option!!! Please help me find a solution, I have 1500 frames ahead of me :/

With 1500 frames ahead of me I wouldn't dream about rendering directly into an animation... if anything goes wrong (believe me, it ALWAYS does) you'll have to re-render 1500 frames (probably more than once).

There are LOTS of programs that can export your frames into an animation later and it is a very simple process.
