View Full Version : Klesk and Visor remake

Hi everyone,

In my free time im working on a remake of the old nice characters from Quake3 for quake4.
There are Klesk the alien and Visor the cyborg..

Its not really a one to one version, more a special version of my fantasy? ;)

For the models i use Zbrush, 3D Studio max and Photoshop. One model have one 1024 Diffuse, normal map and specular map. Klesk have 1900 polygons and Visor have something about 2200. Is not realy orimize, but i thing it is ok. :)

so here some pics..

I work on the animation after reales of the SDK for quake4.

Im loving Visor!! I kinda miss the pistons on his boots though, they kinda made Visor, Visor :)

Klesk feels to hard, I dont really know why, but its kinda in the chest area..hmm
and the texture looks kinda procedual, but then again I dont think there is all that much one can do for Klesk huh :D

I have a slash model (without normalmaps) that Ive been thinking of putting into Quake.
too bad you can only play with dull marines in q4, this Visor (and Klesk, but my money is on visor) addition will be appriciated for sure!

They need more color! They're so... muddy and unsaturated...

Looks pretty cool.

I think it would be better look in no so dark light couse at the moment U are loosing the details.

Keep it up, good job.

put some light in the scene. It is a pity you do not show the details.
You really worked hard on these two guys.

Wanna see more: light, details, models.

yo put in some lights,

and you passed A LOT of details from the original model.
You may get back and check out the details kenneth added
