View Full Version : Baking Textures - Archicad geometry

I've read a lot of material on this forum regarding baking textures. I've tried it with geometry created in cinema 4D to great effect. I can see the potential to save a lot of rendering time.

I produce architectural images and model all the geometry from archicad. I'm finding that whenever i bake an object from archicad, it just turns black. I've tried to change the geometry and link it to new nulls. Someone from another forum suggested that i generate UV in the textures tab, which i did also to no effect.

Has anyone come across the same problems?

You may need to reverse the normals of the objects from ArchiCAD.
