I'm late but here I am too. I show you my rig showing all controls and one test pose. Background... tomorrow, I hope.
C&C are welcome :)

That's my cousin! great character design! :bounce:
The only thing I can say here is that the thumb has only 2 sections (maybe I'm wrong, though), and I think it would "bend" better with 3... or something.
Weird controls, you have there, by the way... you'll have to explain what all that mess is.
Now tell us the script!

Awesome character...got a story yet?

You are not late at all now! Less than me!:hmm:
Impatient to see an animations with this stupid goofy guy! :D

Excellent expression! And very very intersting rig setup too... You're going to have to shed some light on all those lovely handles/helpers... (please?) :D

Hello and thanks for the comments...
In the character setup image, you can see all controls but when you don't use one type of controls (FK control for right arm.... or IK for the left leg...) you can hide them.
Here you have the background... It's poor but It's time for animate!
And here the blocking for the first part of the animation...
Blocking 0.0001 -DivX- (http://usuarios.lycos.es/lichiman/sesiones/blocking0.0001.avi)
Blocking 0.0002 -DivX- (http://usuarios.lycos.es/lichiman/sesiones/blocking0.0002.avi)

What a nice blocking! (así, para que parezca que no lo había visto ya... :D)
The only thing I see here is that when he's coming towards the toilet thing, he looks really anxious to use the restroom, but when he stops and knocks, he doesn't look as anxious. Maybe it's the pose he takes when he's standing still knocking the door, like if it had to be more exaggerated. Try making him jump as he holds the door handle...
The trajectory he follows at the end of the run looks a bit weird to me, maybe it's the way he turns right, or maybe it's because it's just a blocking.
Anyway, I love the way he slides before reaching the door, and the whole thing looks really great.
You'd better hurry, cousin! update as soon as you can!

Just as wonderfull as you use to do :)
I really like de character, even if its done "only" for animating
it, the "set" it's very pretty, reminds me of DOTT ;) I think you know what I mean.
The blocking tests looks hilarious as far as I can see in those
It has helped me to retake some things :)
PD: Also for the rigging at esmaya.

Hello, Thank you for the comments.
Here you have a more finish animation respect to the animation and not for the story... for a story finished I need 10 seconds more... too long :(
But here it is.

I like this animation. I wished you would have gotten to enter it. I think you could have got it under 15 seconds if you had excluded where he droops his head and arms. If he had just started looking around frantically after he realized he couldnt' get in, then run over behind the sign, I think you could have gotten it within 15 seconds.
Oh, it's cool anyways. There's always Jan!

Cool. He's certainly frantic. Some actions like when he goes to unzip looked a bit overacted. Might want to add some more movement to his torso when he's knocking also. I like the rest though. Nice work.

so, when could we see the final version? There's no deadline now, and you dont have to worry about those 15 seconds anymore. Take your time and show us what you can do! :D
