Hey guys,

I was hoping to get some comments on my one of my latest models i was working on.
Polycount is 700 for head & hair (click image for larger version)

well its a good start. but the texture is very low for the amount of polys(sorry looking again that might be the compressin of the image), and or, the use of those polys are not very good, there are too many edge loops around chin and mouth, and far too few in the ears and neck. also if you have hair there is no need to model the scalp, alot of polys could be saved.

anatomy, the chin is quite big in the side view, i would reckomend changes here, the neck is too square, add a few horizontal edge loops and get rid of a few fibres(vertical edges)

SHEPEIRO: Aye my 3d studio max uses compressed textures in viewports.
I'm gonna try, but find it hard to have a nice result without these edge loops. Maybe u guys can give some more tips on this:)
The models hair can be switched so i need a scalp:) but what we dont see we dont calculate hopefully lol.

I didnt put any work in the neck yet , ill keep hammering on the face. ill take a look at the chin but i think me reference has a big pointy chin.
