Finished the body and head (for now) of my model.
it will be some sort of an ancient Conan like superhero.

Well, hey. I'd say he looks pretty good. Pretty accurate. There is a strange crease on the back of his thighs, but other than that....
Lets see some textures that make this guy special. Good job.:)

I think it's great (no doubt better than I could do), but the body does need something. Perhaps if you thinned the waist or widened the hips a little?

biggest problem is that it doesn't LOOK like a Superhero.

First off he is way to short. Looks more like average guy instead of super guy.

Hero types are generally done 8 heads(?) tall to give them a more dramatic and imposing look.

the musculature on the back leaves a lot to be desired. You might want to pick up an issue of Muscle and Fitness to get an idea of what the body builder looks like.

Also the musculature does look good overall, this guy won't pass as Captain America or Superman. You don't have the muscles thick enough where they should be, not enough definition.

i agree. his name should be 'average man'.

Beef this bad boy up!

I think this guy looks fantastic...but only from the waist up. Most of what seems problematic with this model is in the legs. I'd advise lengthening them by about a head-height, and bulking up the volume of the muscles. There's also something -- well, uncomfortable -- about the way the thighs meet the pelvis in the groin area. Consider 'cutting this area under' a bit more, so that it does not meet flush with the pubic mass.

You can interpret 'pubic mass' however you like:)
