I have been trying to model a glass - should be no problem? - however when i apply glass textures to it it appears flawed. I have remade the splines several times, using as few vertices as possible, tried "create outline" to make sure the inside of the cup part is the same as the outside, tried different glass textures,and increasing segments. I have added it to a hypernurbs object which helps but you shouldn't have to do this, no? i have made glasses before in 3Dmax and dont remember this problem. any comments welcome.
