I starting drawing this concept and decided it would be pretty cool to make into a low poly vehicle. I am trying to keep this under 6000-7000 polys and so far I am doing good. I am at 4815...so I can add quite a bit still. I didnt want this to look too much like any other atv and I tried to put my own twist on it. I am going to try and texture this but I am not that good at texturing so this will be good practice. Hopefully you guys will like what I have done so far.I am willing to change things so your ideas are wanted :)
This is the older version I rendered these last night and did some more work on it this morning, so the wire picture is the updated one.

Nothing? Ok well I will put a closer up render of the wires once I finish the unwrapping maybe then I will get some comments...

You've wasted a lot of polys on the undercarriage details, which is a shame, because most of that technical-looking "detail" is just a bunch of rectangles. Same goes for the dash, the back of the wheels, and various other areas (you know what they are). Better to spend those polys on realistic detail instead of random doodads.
Your wheel axles look flimsy and weak. Check out some real life suspension systems on off-road vehicles to get an idea of how your ATV should be set up. Additionally, if your engine is a regular internal combustion engine, there should be a chain linking it to the rear axle, like on a motorbike. this is whats great about oppions, I disagree almost compleatly with Tronno, the reason that I say this is because you never know what app this is going to be for, the ATV might be fliped over in that case you might want to put alot of detail into the undercarige. If anything I would put alot of detail into the dash because that is one of the things that you might see the most of if it were to go into a game engine (depending on the camera view). But I must say that the suspenssion does look a bit weak, you might want to add some coilovers or just make the beefer. but good luck I have a feeling that most of the detail will come out in the texture and I cant wait tell I can see it..... KEEP IT UP

Tronno thankyour for that..that is the kind of crits I want. I agree with what you are saying, looking at it after what you said I see your right. The wheels need to be worked out better, I will work on making them more like a real atv's. Also I need to make all those detail more realistic details, because they are all a bunch of squares. I am on dial up so I havent had a chance to get on to get atv references yet so when I do I can start to rework the bottom and engine area.
Although I do agree with Meephunter...I wanted the dash to be more detailed and I want to put more in, because the player would see that in the screen. Also I wanted the engine area to be pretty detailed. So that it looks just as good to the other players, and when your not on it.

Ok here it is, I worked on this some more and redid the whole wheel and bottom section. Everything was pretty much deleted except for the top. Here are some renders with wire, and its not totally done yet I have to get some more references and then add the rear suspension. Also most of the grooves and stuff will probably be normal mapped so dont worry about that stuff. Oh yeah the sides towards the rear need some work I was just experimenting, so any ideas on that would be great.
