i'm reading some of the posts in this forum and am really surprised to find that most of them deal with building skeletons and rigging the i.k.
i find skining much more difficult and irritating.
especially if you want things to deform well and realistically.
i have not found a good and efficient way of doing it good enough.
if there are any suggestions i would love to read.

I'd say this is because skinning can never be as challenging as creating a great rig... What it is, is a hell lot more tiresome and boring... At least to me :-)
