*i must warn you im the biggest noob ever, so things might not make sence, but help is apreshiated**

ok, im looking a tut that shows how i take a model, map it flat "unrap?" and pant on a texture and do the same for bump map. like the textures in demoreels.

is this called uv maping?

if you understaand me all help is apperisiated.

I couldn't find any tutorials, but you can check google...

It is called UV Unwrap (a modifier) Then to paint in realtime, you can use any paint program or combustion. I hope this helps.

The 3ds max Tutorials help file is the best way to start, bar none. Once you've gone through it, THEN go online and use other tutorials.
