Hey y'all this is the ear I made for Derek, the ancestor.

I need u'r help, WHAT is wrong with it, what makes it unnatural??

Yes, very nice. But where's the ear-hole?

I'm leaving that either when i convert to editable mesh or patch, u know how hard it is to make a whole with splines, don't u???

I see a few minor things missing, if you take a picture of a real ear and hold it up for comparison it helps alot.

add a fiew very subtle bumps along the ridges so it breaks up the cartilige lines a bit this will make it more realistic as the ridges in a real ear arent perfect

Wow, you did that with splines? I'd say it looks excellent. I can't find anything wrong with it. It's a lot better than I could do, but I guess that's not saying much...:)

here is a referenceimage of an ear.

the ear origins from http://www.erc.msstate.edu/~camen/thehumanhead/
a pretty decent place to get some referenceshots.
