View Full Version : Character Studio problem
I'm currently working on a project involving a walking 3D character, and we've run into a problem.
Originally the character animation was produced in 3D Max 3.1 using Character Studio 2.5. When we transfered the character to 3D Max 4.2 (using Character Studio 3.2) some of the Vertices were displaced, here's a screenshot.
The one on the left is the original.
Does anyone know how to transfer characters from Character Studio 2.5 to 3.2 without any or minimal side effects?

you have to re-skin him. there are no quick fixes. going from lower versions of max, the only way to fix this is to reskin or re-physique
