What a great idea to do animation challenges! Kudos to CGtalk...

Anywho, I have any idea for a story line and a rough sketch of what I want my character to be. Now, I'm not sure if this story line will create an animation under 15 seconds, but I will try!

I will give you the story line for each storyboard:

1. The scene starts on a dark city street, lighting coming from one street light. The animation can see a bank machine the street light and that is all.

Scene cuts to inside the machine looking out at the world through the ATM Video camera. A Stranger walks up to the machine and
puts his card in the slot.

2. Machine reads "Please choose amount you wich to withdraw: $1, $10, $20, $100, $1000. The stranger clicks $1.

Machine reads "We're sorry, this machine is currently out of this donomination of funds, please choose again.

Switch camera to atranger (in fish eye, ATM video lense) Stranger rolls eyes, Blah...

3. Switch back to screen shot, stranger chooses $10. Same message as before "we're sorry..." switch back to ATM cam, Stranger looks pissed

Quick shot back and forth of stranger clicking higher and higher amounts, decline screens and looking pissed, kicking hitting machine etc...

4. Stops just short of clicking the $1000 amount. Hmm, better have a look around, and make sure noone is watching. That's a big wad of cash to be walking around with on these streets...

Stranger clicks the $1000 button, recieves his cash

triumphant, and loaded the stranger walks down the street. Suddenly! a shadowy figure comes out from behind the street ligh..."Stick em up!"

The world sucks for the stranger...

What do you think of this story line? Is it too long for this challenge? I thought it was kind of universal becuase there were many times that i wanted to get out a lower amount at the ATM but the machine would be out of bills. I'll be posting more soon and I look forward to your feedback....

Not to be discouraging, but your storyboard suggests that are planning to edit various shots together which would not be consistent with the official guidelines posted for this challenge.

oh, bumer, I thought that meant we could only use still cams but that we could still edit, my bad...well, I'll see if I can work it out....Thanks
