im having a hard time exporting animations from Maya into the *.x format.
my actual problem is, that im able to sucessfully export my meshes from maya to DX using the PolyTrans plugin for maya, but as soon as i skin my model to a simple skeleton and set some keys on the joints and export it, the mesh still shows up in the DX "Mesh Viewer" but it doesn't move at all. The Mesh Viewer shows me that there's some existing animation information in the *.x file, but somehow my model won't move.
so as i'm totaly new to animation for games, i'd like to know what i'm doing wrong. i'm sure it's a very stupid mistake but as i couldn't find any help googling around i finally decided to post here.
