my first thoughts were: what is spactacular to me? :shrug: dealing with humat nature and emotions.
the most emotional and spactacular moments in my life were the births of my three suns. :scream:
What could be more spactacular then creat a new life?
in my image i think, i will not show the birth, but the relationsship between the new born baby and his mother, who still can´t believe this human miracle. :eek: :)
i hope, i can catch this unbelievable moment... ;)

Really, I think it's no problem here - we are thinking in the same lines for the concepts but the motives are rather different... since I'm going with an unborn. Good luck - it will be intereseting to see what you make of this :thumbsup:

this time i do not make a sketch.
i build the two chars of my final image out of simple blocks and posed them.
so that helped me a lot, to find the right pose and camera angle. i also have the chance to make quick changes.

here i show you some of the composition lines. i want to show the relationship between the mother and the baby, so the lines leads to the point of view.
i used to have a very harmonic comp.

This one is my favorite angle.... If the baby's head was leaning a little more towards the back it would be just perfect...

After I shed a tear after reading your idea, truley there is nothing more spectacular then creating life.Your idea is conrete so go with it strong. the 2nd, 3rd and 4th images down are my favorite camera angles. Each show and broaden your strength of the idea. So good luck on picking a camera.

i start modeling the mother. here is the first image of her head. i just begin to model out the basic strukture, tryed to get the right edge loops.

just working a little bit on the head. the next step is to add the ears. in the moment i´am not really happy with the head, it seems to me that there is something wrong. i think i get it, when i add the ears and the body.

i was searching for a body reference. i found it at www.3d.sk for free.
i mirrowed it and now i will use it for reference.
i finde that the proportions work well.

i am working on the body. the first step i make is to block out the main bodylines. then i add details with the knife tool.

Sorry mate, I just see your answer... I can reassure you... I'm only here cause I like to follow good work, and I found your idea very sweet... that change a lot of all war-destruction-robot-and other end of earth.
I have enough the TV news all the days, which pass us always spectacular events, war and destruction, and you subject offer us a better and beautiful vision of the spectacular.

yeah,this model is very cool,clean modelling man...i donno why,but the thumbnail reminded me of Krishnamorti's character on machineflesh! but the big version tells another story!

She looks great so far Mac, if I may, I'd suggest giving her face a slightly 'fuller' look as if she's still carrying extra weight from pregnancy, it will add to her motherly look me thinks...

all the critics you made are right... i know her boobs are very big, may a will make them a little smaller, but first i have to see the rest of the body. then i deside what direction i will go.
i think i will make the face a little fuller, like daddymack said. i want to point out the the female adtributes so the pelvis und the boobs will underline that.
@ vampeta: i don´t forget our little projekt. yiek is on my hard disk waiting for the final step. ;)

In my opinion, brest is very beautiful like that, not too big, especially which it acts of a woman who has just been confined recently, and who nourish her baby. I find that completely normal. It wouldn't be astonishing either that are larger too, or more falling, that would not be dreadful, it's simply the real life, and all the woman on earth are not Angelina Jolie, not ?

Very nice modeling so far! I agree with lemog in that perhaps the boobs should be lowered a bit - also you might loosen her stomach a bit, making it bigger and a bit sloppy - it's common that the stomach doesn't go flat immidately after giving birth.
Overall I think it's a very natural body you got going here - splendid:thumbsup:

I like the body of your character, looks quite naturally. I my opinion the bonestructure of the head is a little bit distinctive or just too masculine?
Weichere Gesichtszüge würden vielleicht besser zur Situation passen.
Anyway it's a very empathetic and personal concept and I'm looking forward to your updates.

It's hard to tell on the more recent renders but on some of your older posts she appears to have quite a heavy set jaw, perhaps it just needs to go back a bit...

The concept is good, but spectacular in a very subtle way (if that's possible). It'll be interesting to see how you fare with the judges against the more in your face, all out action that most people are going for.

i have a lot work to do in the moment, so i have not mutch time to work on my model. i was working on the head a bit to fix the wrong propotions.
still a bit to do.
i although had worked on the body. i will post an update of that tomorrow.

Hey Andre,

You have a very nice idea:thumbsup: , I think you will have to capture the mothers face to get the spectacular point of view across. The head model is looking great:thumbsup: you are a great modeler , but to me when looking at the side view the mouth and chin could be moved back some and in the front view the jaw is a little to square . This is just my opinion and I look forward to where you go with this.

Ok for the chin... a little bit square, it's only really visible in front view, in the other, that's very good for me... but for the forehead... to prob if she have hairs I mean... :thumbsup:

thx for the positve replies here :-)...
here is just a little update. i paint the texture of the women. it is very simple. i just paint the mouth, the eye-brows and some colors and mixed it up with some procedural shaders... still there are no spectular or bumpmap.
now i will add the clothes and then i will see what parts have to be paint with more details... ;-)

this is just an other camera angle to show my skinshader. it is a mix of a hand painted texture and procedural-shaders. i uses sss an global illumination...
