Latest Update: Concept Sketch: The Power of Love (

A father and son are walking in the woods nearby their house, when suddenly a very large branch, rotten from decay, falls from a tree next to them. The father pushes his son out the way, but his legs are crushed and he is unable to move. The son is overcome with emotion and from deep within him, a strength emerges. Against all odds the son is able to lift the otherwise impossibly heavy branch enough for his father to crawl out of its way.

It is said that in times of danger, we can make our bodies do amazing things, feats of strength and agility that are otherwise impossible to do without an urgency for the situation, this is one of those moments.

I want to express the undeniable spectacle of a little boy lifting a branch that is obviously too heavy for him to lift under normal circumstances. Upon review of this image, I feel the need to further exaggerate the size of the branch and to make the son even younger to further heighten the spectacle. I think the camera needs to be more dynamic as well.

Thanks for viewing.
