I am playing around with the idea of a carnival. I have often imagined that there might be a revival of carnivals in the future when it is decided that people should be made to make public displays of thier wealth so they can't hide it away. They do this to increase confidence in them as investments so they can sell more shares in themselves.
It would be like a bluff situation. You would want to show a lot of wealth but not spend all you have left.
Maybe I'm crazy but it's just an idea.

Thanks for the kind words guys.
I am starting to develop more of an idea of what the surroundings of the road will be.
I think that the peopel on the floats will be throwing gifts at the observers. People will be allowed to vote at voting posts.
I am thinking that there might be guys intimidating people to vote one way or the other and maybe police trying to stop them from doing so.

I decided that I need to try to simplify the composition and make it more personal whilst conveying all that is going on. Which is pretty tricky.
