here we go for this challenge!
I have started some rough for a simple model, he will looks like a "typical" but not very strong new mover!
I think the model will be very low face, with separeted elements!

I hope there will be more and more entries!!!:bounce:

Looking forward to this one progress. Nice concept guy...simple. You've given him personality in your drawings. Now do it in the animation.

Hey Nanoneen!
Your progress goes fine!
I see the arms ok, but the legs are a little short.

Totitch I'm late too. What are we doing?

Go Nanoneen!! Show us a little animation!

i think it's pretty obvious this is a cartoony type of character - so his proportions can be however you like!

btw, it IS a great pose: it already shows so much of his attitude. he looks like a dock worker, pretty sure of himself, one that tackles the tasks of life as they show up.

maybe he's even stuffed up himself a bit - i wonder what he's gonna do?

I like him, great posture and character. Bring on the movement.

Nice simple appealing character. I'm also looking forward to seeing this dood in action. I think you went the right route with a character for this type of challenge. Have you decided on your story yet?

Hey great simple character!!!
Lotsa attitude... should be fun to animate..
Would you be able to talk about your rig. Especially what those spheres around him do?

firstable thank you !
about ther rig, it's a simple one with bones made on xsi!
the spheres around him are implicit primitives and the bones of the arms for exemple are constrain in upvector on it ( maybe confuse for a explication...), this way you can reajust as if you were rotate it in the local Y axis !
I use it ( and maybe all xsi user) for the arms, legs, hands, foot, head and body ! it is very useful!
