Ok everyone im entering the contest! i hope i can finish this one. i have some free time before school so i have no exuses...
anyways here's my concept sketch, as you can see i really suck at 2d but the 3d image will be much much much better!
well here's my idea.
A soldier kissing his girlfriend because the war is over. in the back ground there will be another soldier watching them, a bunch of other soldiers putting up a flag, crashing space ships, explosions and dead bodies on the floor.
lots of stuff to make it spectaular!
09 September 2005, 05:56 PM
at least one hardcore! i'd love to see "more details" ;)
09 September 2005, 06:11 PM
You have a vivid imagination  Good luck!
09 September 2005, 06:14 PM
Interesting, I look forward to seeing what else you come up with :D
09 September 2005, 06:32 PM
finaly a good concept!!!
some people think that the expresions like "think outside the box!" means, that they must create bigger explosions than others!
themes like love, care, loneliness, happiness can be S P E C T A C U L A R too! cheers!
09 September 2005, 06:36 PM
Good luck mate :D
EDIT: You have to do something in the background, for example fighting, killing... its will give more passivity to the kiss... :)
P.S. I thought that he is Megaman, lol... You have to make the girl has yellow hair, so she act like Roll... hehehe, just kidding...

thanks for the nice comments guys, one of my friends didn't like it but i decided to stick with it and im glad i did since you guys like it.
sorry but i can't do much in 2d but don't worry the 3d version will have tons of details and the after math of war behind it.
yes i know making a kiss in 3d is going to be hard but im up to the challenge!
thanks again for viewing :)

I'm thinking with all the stuff happening in the background, it'll be an interesting pic. Heh, looking at the thumbnail on the thread list, it looked like megaman making out with one of those sailor moon chicks :)
09 September 2005, 07:12 PM
ahahaha now 2 people told me it looks like megaman :pdon't worry its not megaman, roll or sailor venus ;)
im going to start the modeling tomorrow, first thing im going to model is a space ship or the guy. for the guy im going for the fallout 2 power armour look, i always thought those power suits were the coolest things ever made
09 September 2005, 07:13 PM
• Looks like things are starting to burn in here! Good luck Olivier and have fun, good sketch by the way!
09 September 2005, 07:35 PM
hey climax thanks, but are you really from honduras? because i lived in san pedro sula for 5 years.
09 September 2005, 08:32 PM
Hi Archer, just want to say hello and wish you best luck for the contest!
09 September 2005, 10:14 PM
I really like the idea. I will try my best to follow this and give you my suggestions. WHen i first saw this and everything i thought that the lady should be almost flown back from the soilder like having her hair fly backwards kinda, and her legs extended all the way. THat would make this kiss way more 'Spectacular'.
09 September 2005, 10:24 PM
hmmm interesting... i like the idea that your gonna work with human emotion in this one. But i would erally hope u'll change the pose of the gurl.. looks a bit too 'R' rated... i suggest both standing and enjoying a passionate kiss of achivement :bounce: anyways keep up the good works and have fun
09 September 2005, 01:19 AM
weider- thanks, you should really enter this contest !:scream:
g3orge - thats a wonderful idea! thanks man!
overcontrast - yea hahahaha when i should my friend the image he asked me if im making henti now ahaha so with g3org3's idea it should not look "R" rated :D

Skip the explosions. Everyone ( including myself ) have freakin explosions all over the place.
09 September 2005, 09:19 PM
well i started modeling the ship's turbine, there will be multiple ships in the scene, some flying around, one crashing and one landed in the background near a soldier signaling the guy and his girlfriend to get in.
09 September 2005, 07:32 PM
I started working on the hull of the ship, im gonna add frame bars around the panels.
09 September 2005, 07:55 PM
... one landed in the background near a soldier signaling the guy and his girlfriend to get in.
Cool ship, but where are they going to get in through? :D
09 September 2005, 08:49 PM
There will be a cargo bay in the back that opens up :buttrock:
09 September 2005, 09:01 PM
It`s not a great model .Acctually It`s just not all of ur skills .sure I`m thinking like this .as my looking the tile bump texture could`nt any help to seems good .(the space ship is my meaning).
"PLEASE TRY TO MAKE IT BETTER < I KNOW U WILL BE LUCKED :D "
nice too meet U .
09 September 2005, 10:36 PM
don't worry its going to look much better, and thats not a bump map i modeled those tiles :p the reason its taking me so long to make is because im experimenting with different techniques to see which i like best so i've restarted a few times :p but i found a technique that i like so more updates tomorrow since im feeling kinda sick tonight (i think its a flu)
but thanks for commenting and nice to meet you too

I like the idea of celebration at wars end , are you going to have some fireworks in the back ground . To me the poses need some work like others suggested. Good luck with this .
09 September 2005, 12:08 AM
couldn't sleep so i worked on the ship some more, i started adding the frames to it worked on the nose and detailed another panel! well i guess im really going to be this time :P being sick sucks :(
09 September 2005, 03:01 AM
I couldn't sleep again (its 5am.....) so i decided to work on my ship some more. nothing major.
09 September 2005, 03:56 AM

09 September 2005, 01:07 AM
