Latest Update: Concept Sketch: Calm looking
Well, good luck for all members on this challenge!
So, let´s talk about what I´m thinking about the work I´ll do.
Many things are spectacular in life, since we´re children, during the life we discover spectacular things all the time, and all the time we're suprised by great emotions, powers and feelings.
My idea is to create a chronological narrative of the human being discovering spectacular feelings and pleasures of life, of course demonstrating strong emotions and expressions, that make the eyes so "spectacularized".
This is the first step of my work. I think the most important part of the scene. Hope you like this starting.

It is similar to the boy which has decided to commit suicide!
Really it is very terrible!

Thank you all crew for support! Let´s make good art!!
Hi crew, after a big brain storm I´ve decided to change my concept to a more impactant scene, contrasting a calm and "spectacularly" " nervous" situation. Here is the first sketch!
Hope you like it

I like it so far! It does look surreal, but I'm not feeling a nervous situation just yet. Is the train stopped, or is it about to run right through the wall? Keep it up!!

interesting concept. will you add someone in your image?

That second sketch is pretty trippy looking. I think the concept gives way for a lot of potential. What do you think of a front view image where a guy is sitting on a chair with his back to the train and the frame of the door is outlining him almost like a picture frame? Its the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw your sketch and I think it would make for a very dramatic image. Keep up the great concepts and good luck! - J
Hi guys, thank you all for the replies and interest in my thread:)
Well, after a Judas Priest concert, here in São Paulo, Brazil I´m very tired to make some update in my image but I´ll explain my idea on it.
First of all, the name I´ve choose for that scene is Nothing to Loose, why? As you can see on the left corner there is a door, ruins and a chair. Sitted on this chair I´ll represent an old man, calm, turning the page of his newspaper, at the same time looking the incoming train(here is the contrastant scenes) and the spectacular scene behind it.He gives a slight smile. All that stuff is insignificant for the old man, he has nothing to loose at his time of his life, he´s sitting on his own ruin.
CONFLICT OF THOUGHT
I´m not worried about that furious scene in front of me, I´m nothing to loose now, thinks the old man. He don´t now that this furious and "spectacular" scene is a way that our lives show us some hopes and inspiration to carry on our dreams, even when we think that we are about to crash, a way that life awake us to continue believing in ourselves. Of course that is a surreal way to represent it and give the scene a spectacular touch to work with emotions.
Hope you like it,
see you on the road to the challenge!
Hi crew! that´s another up!
hope you enjoy it

Hey Gus, I like this idea very much and the surrelism is just great. The perspective might need a little adjustment though, if the idea is that the door will be centered on the rails. Great work so far

Very cool, but I'm blaming you if I have nightmares tonight. :D Nice work.
Squibbit: thank you man, on the next up I´ll try to repair the branches.
Plagiarism: yeah, the idea is to center the trail on the door to give the "about to crash" looking, thanx a lot for critique!
ChrisThatGuy: haha sometimes nightmares are not too bad!:buttrock: Thank you!
