this is the first time i have entered a challenge here, and let alone anywhere else!!

im really scared, but im gonne give it a good whirl hopefully!

this was a quick idea, about heroes that save peoples lives. like as u can see here, a fireman doing his daily job which is so spectacular, as he saves lives every day.
this was just the first idea to popped in to my head.
if i do go along with this concept i will try to show the panic of him trying to save the childs life, as he breaks down the door to escape from the blazing house!

oh and good luck once again to everyone, this should be spectacular!! hehe

:scream: sweeney!

I think you have a pretty original idea - seeing as how these drawings are still VERY early, i would assume you are allready working on ways to make it Convey the feel of something spectacular.

If i can infer correctly it seems like you want him to leave a burning building with the infant in his arms. I cant wait to see how you are gonna do this in 3D, it really can be made to look spectacular.

This is also my first time in a competition and yes i'm so nervous, but everybody here is gonna help, and that makes me feel really part of this and so should you.

Good luck - i'll keep an eye as you continue at this.

hey thanks for the reply DK3D.

yeh its still very early in the concept idea yet, im still thinkin about the shot and the camera angle.
should he be in the burning building making his way threw, should he be bursting through the door like in my drawing or i was think maybe a close up of the top half of his body, with him holding the baby. with the burning building in the background.
i just want to try and get that spectacular feeling, of this person is saving a life, ent got a clue how the hell im going to do it. hehe :scream:

im kinda new to 3d so this will be hard, but thanks alot for ur kind words matey.

sweeney

Ouch! Those flames are gonna be a right headache to do convincingly!
Nice idea though. If you can pull it off well, it would look really good.

yeh the flames are gonne be the hardest part by far, i ent really got a clue where to start, maybe particals, post pro, i dont know. il just go with the flow and see where i land. hehe

cheers andy

this is another concpet for the fireman saving the childs life, bit more of a cramatic angle, like he is getting blown out of the house. will have loads of debry flying out to!

what do u guys think, ne sugestions, would be nice to have a bit of feed back.

infact i was thinking of changing my idea comletely but i dont know yet.

cheers sweeney

The firefighter in the first sketch is perfect! In the second one it looks more like a cheesy hollywood movie, whereas the first one is very 'believable'.
I absolutely love the idea! Flames will be hard though.

cheers for the reply pizzasRgooD, need some more replys, yeh il try and stick with a more believable look tho. just thought a more dramatic pose would be more spectacular. but u r right it does look really cheesey.

i ahvent use particals b4, and was playing around with them and tryin to create fire. what does everyone thing, still needs lots of work.
