Here it is my idea, an assault team coordinated to evacuate the robbery when its done. They have jetpack on their backs so they can scape trhought the air.

thanks for the comment, uhm I donno if there was something like this in matrix reloaded, certainly I didnt watch it , it bored me :sad:. But maybe there are similities, but its not the same idea, the chopper is from the police, not of the thief, the thief or however its written hahah ( sorry bad english) scape with their jetpacks.

I liked the first sketch, because you stick the image power in the middle... Look at the second picture, by adding the red color you have moved the balance to the lower side of the image.

well, time to post some advances =). Here's the first thing I made, a block that will be at the bottom part of the scene, I used max 7, its kinda "low polygon" and it has only one custom-made texture, mapped with unwrap.

here's the first, "extra" building, started as a box, and then I modeled some floors and the windows. I made a texture map and unwraped it in the model. I used google earth to take references of the ceiling. I'll post more advances in a while

simple models, Im focusing more in the final picture. Here's the model of the camera view, again only used 1 texture with unwrap, the texture size is like 1024x400, I'll post it later =)

This is the model of the building that will be in front. its very basic, I changed the concept of it a bit, I made a garden at the top part of it, so employees can go there to relax hah. And I changed the "B" for a "-V-" . It doesnt mean anything exactly, but I think it'll enhace the atraccion to the center of the picture.

well here are all these stuff together, the left picture is a test render where I detected some bugs. And the right one is corrected. I'm using maxwell render of course.

well I made some super low poly cars, each has 83 polys, I took references from google earth again to make a little map of car texture variations, here's a render, the models in max 7, and the texture map in its original resolution, there's no need to do it higher since the cars will be at the bottom. I accept comments hah =P

here's an advance, the restaurant building over there is duplicated to see if I make it bigger, notice that the 3d cars are now included in the background, and the trees seems quite weird, but as I've seen thats how they look from a top view. hope u like it

My only crit is the cars. The proportion of the cars in the road to the buildings doesn't seem correct. I'm placing this judgement by looking at the surrounding windows of the buildings in relation to the road and cars.

Looking good otherwise.

I don't really feel confortable with the grain, I think future cameras won't have grain :D

Other than that great work, I like the ideea, it's really dynamic ;)

I like the buildings and scene , good job with thi:thumbsup: . The buildings on the right look excellent, maybe you could tweak the textures on the building in the top part of the image.

good job so far! 1 question : you use low quality textures, they are ok for small images but your final render is going to be 3000 pixels wide, have you calculated that?

hoooray I was out for some days and now I have commentss:love: hhahah. Well about the picture, the grain is because of maxwell, I'll let it calculate for some days I guess for the final picture haha. It takes so long. But I like the result. I'll move some buildings to get them closer to the road because I see a biig distance there. Also the trees I'll tweak 'em in post production, to give them a more natural feeling.

About the texture hah uhm well, I'm doing all the most "low poly" I can, without loosing quality, or at least trying it haha. Also low res textures, to proove a videogame company I can do these stuff haha. =) , the characters will be "low poly" too.

The buildings of the right have a problem, well, its a maxwell's problem, if I make a render close to them, they look as they are, wuth their textures correct, etc. But when I make the render from the camera view, maxwell changes their textures and put another one tiled. its weird. the cars I could make'em bigger, but maybe it'll affect the height feeling.

I'll also make some tweaks in closer textures in post producion, in case they look very pixelated, anyway I'll add some radial blur in the final picture to give the picture some speed =)

well I guess I have to "announce" that I wont finish the challenge this time:sad:, I've been busy applying to a videogame job, but there's a lot of tests and those stuff. I hope to have good luck, I'll finish this picture later anyway. I dont like to leave things unfinished. Good luck to everyone I see its being a great challenge:deal:
