hi all, I am not sure if this board welcomes beginner or not, but I really would like to hear some comments from experts in CGT community. The model is far from complete yet, however, any feedback will be appreciated. thanks in advance!!
The approch I took was starting from the eye area, noise, mouth, chin, ear, and then the rest. I found it is easier to control the shape (the look) this way but it almost kills me when I try to close up the head. I just couldn't get it right around the cap (around the ear). well, I guess that means more practice :)
here are some renders:

Your model looks great. The mouth and eye areas are perfect. I also like the way she is textured, realistic but not photo-realistic, a cool blend. The mesh density is very high. In some areas, maybe this is whats causing the slight indentations like on the cheek, but that can easily be fixed. Its hard to put personality into a realistic character before adding expressions but you definately suceeded on this one.

hey thanks for the feedbacks guys (especially to threedeemer, the comment was precise and criticle )!! however, I need to say the images from the 2 last post are not mine, and I didn't understand the messages in the post either... can anybody translate? :P
anyway, i would like to post another smile pose and a concept design of how I could use this model on a magazine or book:
