... we wait :wip:

Finally the concept, now I'll try and color it(poorly). I'll get to modelling and in the process explain plugins modelling techniques etc. :P

Hehe, looks similar to mine. What's happening in your scene?

Describe it to us.

09 September 2005, 08:38 PM
Well you're right it need some explaining... Well this is my vision of the armageddon time. Since Armageddon is a place I decided to represent what happens in the meantime on Earth... What you see is a beam of light hitting a sea or ocean and the area with the circles starts burning... I've put the sun into a sunset position to show that the beams of light are some kind of a holy light. Well thats most of it... I think it would be a spectacular sight the returning of God on Earth etc. Well that's it for now...

Hmmm... not a very original concept (armegeddon, and all), but there is much room for new things in the actual 3d work! :) Good luck and have fun!

the1st_angel: Thanks mate :). I'll try to do this the right way this time haha...

The Parrot: Well as I said it's not THE Armageddon, but the time before it and ON Earth, because Armageddon is a place... Anyway thanks... I hope you like the 3D thats coming soon :).

09 September 2005, 04:11 PM
I'd use a night time, just to consentrate the attention on the beam. Otherwise you'll have to light spots on the image, it's not good.

Nice consept anyway. Finally someone knows tha armageddon is a place, not event.

Good luck.

09 September 2005, 04:38 PM
suk-grigorij: Yes night is an option... Even better than a sunset time... I'll try it both ways...

P.S. Yep I know a thing or two about Armageddon :P. And thanks for the comment :).

09 September 2005, 11:20 PM
well an armageddon dawn could be nice as well or if you want a natural environment a cold cyanish sky with a lava hot beam?.... hehe, so many possebileties. as long as Beam has enough power, the scene will look very very cool :)

09 September 2005, 01:31 PM (

This is the first of many pictures :P. I've just used simple geometry to test position of camera, I've actually done the basic stuff, so now I can just model the elements and put them in the right places... The glowing thing is the sun, just used glow to mark the place. Well tell me if this composition is good or I should change it...

09 September 2005, 04:52 PM
the1st_angel: Well I just hope I can make the scene look believable... :) Thanks.

P.S. Yep I know a thing or two about Armageddon :P. And thanks for the comment :).

Wow, mate thats sounds kinda... scary and evil:eek: . Such thing could be said by some sort of the deamon.

09 September 2005, 09:12 PM
suk-grigorij: Well I don't have "inside" information haha :D, but I have read a few things in a few books :P. That's why I said that :). Anyway an update is coming soon.
