Latest Update: Concept Sketch: The Throw - Concept

This is the first idea for my image. Cant draw worth a flip so did my "sketch" in max.
The idea is in the final image you will be able to see the clock in the background with the time :00 and the home team down by 4 points in the 4th quarter of the superbowl. They are at their have to go 55 yards to score. The Quarterback has dropped back and the opposing team is rushing their linebackers. This LB makes it just as the QB releases the ball and time runs out, knocking off the QBs helmet and crushing his arm. If it is allowed their will be second image that completes this story and it is called "The Catch". THis will be an image of the reciever catching the ball while surrounded by 3 defenders, with the ball having just made it between the hands of all the 2 of the defenders with the 3rd pulling the reciever to the ground.

judging from the lack of response, I guess I need to come up with a new direction. If there is something wrong/right with my concept I would love some feedback.

I really don't see anything spectacular with someone getting tackled. If you want to stay with this theme, then you must think of it as something very historic. Possibly like the hit that ruined somones career, etc. The image you need to capture has to be like a still from footage. You need to make the image have soo much emotion, that you wouldn't want to press play and see what happens. For example, someone got hit in a football game and flipped him over, where he did a backflip and landed on his neck and is now paralized. You have to figure out what part of that motion you can capture in a still and still portray this spectacular event.

I think that flip idea sounds pretty cool actually. However... I think your original idea does have some potential. And I think you could find a way to have the two images you mentioned overlay eachother, kind of like when a movie has one scene fade into the next so that you can see both scenes at once. Then the clock/scoreboard can be thrown in as well. I'm gonna have to say that this idea has potential. If you have a strong vision, don't back down on it. Try to see this thing and go for it! If you can't see it in your mind, you may be better off scrapping it.

I kind of like the idea as the tackle in sports gives out a very catchy feel and could be a spectacle all by itself. Go on with the idea. Would love to see more :)

Thanks for the responses guys. I really like the montage image idea. I think that could be great way to pull this off. Not what I was originally thinking but I like it better than 2 separate images. Thanks for the input. I just have to get the second part of the image ironed out and then start modelling :) thanks for the input guys. And also the spectacle in the hit is the fact that the QB is getting hit so hard that his helmet is flying off, I have never seen a QB get hit that hard. But I am going to keep going with this and see what I can turn out. Thanks for the input guys.
