Its been a busy month for me at work. Lack of ideas and understanding of the real meaning of the theme of this contest doesn't help either. Finally its time to put all my excuses aside and get started already.
I wanted to explore more stuff about the Chinese Culture and tradition and take them further. One of the most spectacular part of the Chinese Culture is the lion dance. So, naturally, I try to come up with a really awe-inspiring event involving it.
I watched the show Yamakazi quite sometime ago, but I couldn't forget the extraordinary stunts the guys pull off in the movie. So I thought, what if those Yamakazis performed the Lion Dance amidst high rise futuristic buildings? I thought putting the traditional (Lion Dance) and the scientific (futuristic city and machines) together will also create an interesting contrast.
I hope I can pull this one off nicely.

I expanded my previous concept further and added more elements to see how it turns out. I think this version is better than the last.

halo jeromoo. very interesting - bit bothered by the window borders though. anyway wip is wip cheers man:)

yamazaki roxx! U are progressing the best idea to mix up the cool stunts into Lion dance!
Maybe a view outside from the building or helicopter will be much understanding...
Lovin the concept!

The concept is really cool :) The one thing that I don't like is the window.. The frames divide the view and you can't really see the spectacular event. If it's a futuristic city maybe the window can be just from glass.. or even made of square pieces of glass joined together by really thin frames? Just to add some space and show more of what's going on outside. Anyway.. this is a good idea, good luck! :)

I like your use of colours (The Red lion contrasts tremendously with the green) and the concept itself is very interesting! Can't wait to see more...
By the way, I just came back from vacation KL, Malaysia....a lot has changed since my last visit. My opinion of the place is always getting better and better, not to mention the food and hospitality of the people. Nice!!
Perhaps you can throw in a few symbols or details in there to show hints of it being in Malaysia? For example, I could tell the skyscraper is inspired by the Petronas Towers, judging from the sky-bridge.
