Hi there
This is my very first picture about this challenge's 3D section.
Let me introduce the scene "Hero's Jump Over The Cityscape".
You can see here a mannequin hero and a poor cityscape. But that is enough for the first time to give a sense what is in my mind.

09 September 2005, 09:36 PM (

As you see i plan to make a scene that a hero changes his vehicle whilst they are airborn. It is just because previous vehicle was fatally damaged.
This may sound a spectacular moment of an adventure. Is not it?

09 September 2005, 09:43 PM
nice idea ..

good luck ... :)

09 September 2005, 12:44 AM
thats awesome. is it going to be a cartoony image or more realistic?

good luck

09 September 2005, 02:12 AM
Goodluck! Maybe try a bottom POV?

09 September 2005, 04:52 AM
Joshcxa i am planning to make a scene %75 realistic %25 cartoony, however something close to a comicbook cover maybe.

Nichod, thanks, as soon as i make the models of aircrafts and characters, i am planning to rotate and try different shots for both the camera and the lights.

09 September 2005, 07:49 AM
With perfect finalization, this one will be breathtaking. Around concept, I like this one little bit more than your 2D entry :)

09 September 2005, 05:53 AM

09 September 2005, 05:56 AM

09 September 2005, 04:01 AM
Hi Le-Go,

Two entries? Youre a madman! I can barely find time to work on one. Hardcore!

Anyway, thank you for your comment on my sketch and just wanted to stop by and wish you luck. Keep the sketches coming! -J

09 September 2005, 04:52 AM
Oh man , U done the human anatomy as stronge , I really like it .can U show ur refrence for modeling ? Also the muscles shows theire self under the skin . goodluck ...

09 September 2005, 05:01 AM
The model is coming along well. But some comments:

-Watch the hip area the crease above the leg should curve downward in the front.
-I'd watch that shoulder area, perhaps rebuild that. It looks like you built from the shoulder down.
-The elbow is not rotated correctly and should be angled on the x axis and not parallel, observe your own arm when straight for reference
-Can we get a front view without the wireframe?

Great work! Keep it up!

09 September 2005, 05:13 AM
nice modeing :bounce:

Leg is coming

09 September 2005, 05:39 PM (

This is a painted sketch of the jumping hero. I thought that it is more suitable to the 3d section more than the 2D section. I must design a new character for the 2D section.

09 September 2005, 06:16 PM
yes, that should be very interesting, wish you do everyting you want!

09 September 2005, 03:41 PM
that is interesting...really interesting...i'll keep watching:)

09 September 2005, 03:59 AM (

Some vehicle designs, i may use in the scene.

09 September 2005, 05:48 AM
good idea i like the style...

09 September 2005, 12:32 PM
So, your jumping man will be hero?! Thatīs nice. I thought its going to be regular man in future.
But, hero rulez :buttrock:

09 September 2005, 01:33 PM
nice design .... rock on :scream:

09 September 2005, 11:13 AM (

I have modelled one gun from the scene.

09 September 2005, 07:09 PM (

Here is the reference for the hero body

09 September 2005, 07:18 PM
"Ramtin Moom", here is the reference as you requested, it is puny as you see. But also easy to find reference and not so good. I think my hero's body is not so good too.

I must develop it. As "Nichod" told some mistakes present over the model. Here is another view. Front wireframe.

From now on i am planning to develop the character more.

09 September 2005, 07:19 PM (

Here it is

09 September 2005, 08:32 PM
Cool Concept! Will we see the guy in motion? Will we see either the guy with motion blur or the background? I thinks its a really good idea.

09 September 2005, 09:15 PM
Hero will possibly be shown with sharp antialias like when we use a high ASA film, high shutter speed photograph shootings. Instead, the bacground will possibly blur just because to maintain the focus as in the real time.

09 September 2005, 09:23 PM
hei Le-Go
nice concept!the action looks cooland also the models are looking very good.

09 September 2005, 11:56 PM

09 September 2005, 01:18 PM
Hey Levent,

The head model is looking good  , looking at the large and small images of the head it looks like the chin could be a little flat or something. Look forward to more updates.
