11 November 2005, 06:23 PM (

while my workstation is rendering my final3d entry , I decided to try quick sketch for 2d entry and hope to finished it ontime , new concept is about , the future life , high technology but it still can't fullfill human needs, so the new way to be free is " instant nirvana" don't know it's work or not , sorry for VERY rough sketch , comments are welcome

11 November 2005, 07:16 PM
hi man! the concept is looking just great, the idea of nirvana seems to fit the challenge theme, although I think it should have a bit of dynamic. This is what I think about spectacular, its all just a personal opinion, but I had to say it :) Waiting for next updates and wishing u good luck to finish the piece in time!

11 November 2005, 08:44 PM
Checked out your 3d entry, and man, it looks really cool. Goodluck on finishing on a 2d entry

11 November 2005, 02:48 AM

11 November 2005, 04:44 AM (

some change on line art and value check , next update will be in color :

11 November 2005, 11:14 AM

cool! - you are really gonna do the 2D Challenge, too. Very dynamic line drawing. Maybe the position of the character reminds me a bit of the m&s entry but the context is different.

your 5D skills rock the house, mate.

11 November 2005, 06:30 PM
Fahrija : haha ! yes I totally agree with you , after I finished sketch I just realize that old man pose is the same pose with my old ms entry! but I like this concept so I decided to continue with it and modify it slightly by drop his hand down :eek:
it's very fun to work with 2d , hope it will be finish

11 November 2005, 06:38 PM (

begin lay down light and shadow and overall color to the scene , I want it look colorful and sunlight scene like middle east asia , comment are welcome

11 November 2005, 04:23 AM

You're amassing a small fortune with all the contest prizes you win. :applause: That said, You are a prolific artist and worker and deserving of all the rewards.

With this image, its still too early to give much critique, but I see the left back wall as too bright and competeing with the floating objects beside the zen master. Maybe remove it altogether, and let the rays of light fill the background.

Your 3d entry is absolutely mesmerizing. No doubt, this will be just as wonderful when you finish. Beat that lousy deadline! :arteest:

11 November 2005, 04:44 AM
The dry mystical mood is great. I love how the character is obviously powerfully magicall, yet is dressed and kept quite meagerly. Keep up the good work!

11 November 2005, 07:33 PM
I tried to pull off a 5d but I just couldn't do it. I am amazed that you are able to do it. You rock man!

12 December 2005, 10:47 AM

12 December 2005, 04:30 PM (

There are too many unknown things in the world , black magic?
voodoo? nirvana?,god?,devil?we never know and we can't explain
everything in the world with science .How do you feel when you see
mysterious man rise into the air and have power to control everything
with his mental power? It will be spectacular!!

12 December 2005, 04:33 PM
many thanks for support and encouragement everybody! good luck and have fun!:bounce:

12 December 2005, 04:33 PM
