11 November 2005, 06:10 PM
It's all a bit confused at the moment, as you can see the background through the linework, but I've started blobbing colour down to get a feel for how the foreground will look against it.
I'll probably give it a bit before the next update, as I want to spend some time looking round the forum at all the other work for the challenge.
11 November 2005, 06:16 PM
Oh yeah watch him go, Go Aly Go!
11 November 2005, 07:12 PM
Looking good, Aly. The foreground girl's pose is great
11 November 2005, 07:30 PM
I would have forgiven you for not finishing this up since I saw you post that gorgeous babe in the 2d gallery, but I'm glad to see you are back on it! GO, Man, GO! :bounce:

11 November 2005, 02:30 PM
Okay, NOW that front woman' position that I commented on so long ago make sense! She's looking good, too.
Good to see you're still working on this, Aly. No pressure or anything, but go go go!!! :)

11 November 2005, 09:27 PM
I really like your paintings, and this one is looking great!
11 November 2005, 01:54 PM
Not a great deal of change since the last update. I've changed Miki's pose, and added a bit of colour here and there, but I'm only blocking in still. The pic is still quite low res. I tend to get thing right, and then size it up to start concentrating on detail and stuff. At least that's the way with something like this. It really is a bit of a mess still.... :\
11 November 2005, 01:59 PM
Hey Aly!! This is looking fab!! Reeeeeally fab!!
Loadsa movement and a great composition!!
Except..... the glider in the top right corner looks like it's coming out fo her head!? What's all that about!? Are you mad?? Get it sorted or i'll sulk....
11 November 2005, 02:11 PM
I was about to mention the same btw :)
But it DOES look absolutely kickass Aly.

11 November 2005, 06:23 PM
Started working on Jane, but the shadows a bit harsh at the moment. Golly, there's a long way to go with this... The colour still isn't final yet at all...
11 November 2005, 06:59 PM

11 November 2005, 11:59 PM
Did a bit more on the outfit, but I'm not very happy with the face yet... looks a bit flat. But I'll probably leave it for a bit and move on somewhere else next... Twelve days to go.. no pressure at all!!! :\
11 November 2005, 12:54 AM
Yeah there is pressure! Pressure from me! You better finish, LOL!

imno master but out of six pages this is the only thing that caught my eye for a good finish... i got lots left to do on mines a whole lot
12 December 2005, 05:22 PM
Well, it's all gone hideously wrong...
I've got to apologise because there is no way I'm going to get anything finished for the end date... er... tomorrow . I came back to it at the weekend with the vain hope of getting my enthusiasm up for it, and did a bit of work, but in the end various distractions work wise and a few personal things have kind of meant my committment to this piece hasn't been as passionate as I would have liked. I'd never really gelled with what I was doing anyway, so I'll probably finish it to a more self indulgent level in my spare time, if I can get over hating it. Thankyou everyone who stopped by with encouragement and helpful observations, it was appreciated beyond measure. :)
12 December 2005, 05:32 PM
Hey Posh, sorry you didn't finish, I was really looking forward to your entry. Alas, life gets in the way. I really hope you dont give up on this piece. I'm still looking forward to how it turns out.
12 December 2005, 06:59 PM
Sorry to hear that Aly - it was looking like a top entry.
Oh well... next time gadget! :D
12 December 2005, 07:06 PM
To be honest, i dbouted you wouldve finished this in time because its very ambitious idea for such a late entry! Maybe if you used up the whole of the time allocated, you couldve made it and it wouldve looked ace! Still, some good came out of it. You did those cool thunderdrome character designs, as well as daisy!
Ah well - until next time!
12 December 2005, 03:53 AM
Man... Thatīs sad...
12 December 2005, 04:01 AM
