Hi guys. This is my first attempt to find the view of my spectacular thread. It's difficult by now because of my tight schedule at the moment. I don't have enough time to think about the challenge, so if you have some critics and ideas that could help me you are welcome.

09-08-2005, 03:38 PM
wow!realy nice sketch! only one crit about the figure and the scene are too balance.just my opinion.:)

09-08-2005, 03:42 PM
Very nice sketch Svetlin! good start and goos luck for this challenge.:)

09-08-2005, 03:48 PM
Very cool idea, and I love the perspective.

Is the fighter supposed to be contributing to the city's destruction, or menaced by it? I.E. was that his home, or is he an invader? I get the sense that he may be watching his home burned down. In that case you could either: A- send something in to menace him more directly, like a fighter swooping at him, or B- Make his pose more of a spectator in awe- perhaps by dropping his gun to his side.

Again, very cool work. Just a couple of ideas.

09-08-2005, 03:48 PM
Great sketch already, the comosition is already starting to work well. Good luck to you.

09-08-2005, 03:56 PM

09-09-2005, 09:18 AM
Go for a landscape, I would like to see more of the city getting destroyed, if you are going to tie some relationship the character and the city, I'll be back to check up on your thread!

09-09-2005, 04:20 PM
Hi Svetlin, good luck too you!

I foward to see your final image.

09-10-2005, 05:26 AM
The excellent sketch.
We do not see the face of the main character, though on the person in fact it would be possible to understand its attitude to that that occurs.

These is maybe my last chance to choose finally the theme of my challenge entry. So there were many ideas but this was wit best potential and there it is - The last line of defence.

09-16-2005, 06:38 AM

09-16-2005, 08:02 AM

09-18-2005, 10:30 AM
Goood Luuuuck! :scream: Love your art so, looking forward to the finished piece!
It was a good thing to broaden the pic, allowing more sight of the city. But poor kids (they're kids right? or my mind has finally gone crazy).

09-23-2005, 04:43 PM
This looks cool Svetlin! Is this what you're gonna go with?

I really like the wonky composition and the poses of the kids. Kids always look great with rocket launchers!

Any progress...?

09-24-2005, 12:21 PM
There is no any progress for my pity. I don't have enough time right now. Good luck to all competitors!
