I just recieved the Greeble plugin for 3ds max 6, and I was wondering exactly as to how you use it.

This is a cross platform subforum, you might want to ask in the max forum.

Basically you select polygons in edit poly/mesh mode and apply the greeble modifier in the stack. It then adds random panels and widgets to those polygons, saving you the hassle of doing all those little things all over your space ship etc.

As above though, it can also be used to whip up very quick city scapes. Very handy for background shots with a few "hero" hi-res buildings thrown in.

Also as an addition to what has been already posted...
You can add greeble to any object you create. For example you can make a sphere, then apply the greeble modifier. Greeble will generate polys based on the segments of the geometry you have created. So a sphere with 64 segments will have more "greebles" then a sphere with 32 segments.

hope this helps
