. I have worked on this dude for quite a while now. It started in Maya went to max, jumped to nendo and back to max, for some more tweaking but before I rig it all up again. I would like it to be tightened up.
. I have stared @ it for so long I donít have an unbiased perspective any more. Need fresh eyes

Looks great Linden,
But why has he got sunglasses??

Also why all the jumping around the packages?
Were you just trying out the different tools?

Have you any further plans for him??

...also the area where the wings meet the back could probably do with some work.

They dont totally look like part of thge character at the moment.
a bit they've been bolted on.

Hi linden,

Try to think of how the muscle and bone tructure would have to work !

The back looks like that of a human with wings attached at the moment.

Those are quite large wings and would need powerfull muscles
and large joints.

I did some work on a dragon model a year or so ago and it is quite hard to image how all those limbs would fit togther. !

it may be of use to find some images of mythical creatures with wings, to see how other people have solved this problem !???

Did some revisions on the wings ..
But Iím afraid they will always look a little separate because they are , but maybe some fur can disguise the seam

the wings are seperat objects hey !!

would it be possible to merge them to the body mesh?

I think they should akso join in the middle in the same way the body joins at the spine.
have muscles linking with the shoulder and back muscles of the body. This would blend the wings in nicely.

Not sure cosmetic fur is the way to go, as it will still follow the contour of the mesh. !

He has sunglasses because itís cool..
I used so many packages because they all have prows and cons..
I love Mayaís Poly tools (cps tools) and the surface sculpt but I really dig max.ís soft select and Image planes .Or back round images
