A few months ago I got my reel together - mostly work from my current postion (which I've had for a little over 3 years) and a bit of freelance and a touch of personal work. Take a look, I don't claim to specialize in anything nearly all of the work here was modeled, lit, textured, animated, rendered and comped by me.

any comments and crits are more than welcome.. Thanks!

Thanks - I appreciate that.

I'm not sure what people tend to think about reels that don't specifically focus on an aspect of work. I'm glad you liked it.

Well, it looks like a motion graphics / special effects reel to me. It was quite good. TIGHT. Which is very good, you got the point across concisely. I was sold!
But seriously, the cubes highlight animation I suppose, the speaker highlights lighting and rendering, but everything else would be classified motion graphics and effects. Its impressive that for each spot you did everything ( and make sure they know that ) but again, your selection of clips tends toward highlighting DESIGN.

I was nervous when I saw "3D Generalist," but I was very impressed after seeing your reel. You've got some really nice shots on there, and the reel is edited together perfectly.

Good luck,

It's more FX-reel, or TV-design reel...
