i feel weird posting something that is so unfinished... i'm not really sure what my plan for this is yet, but i guess we'll see how it goes...

I really like the light in the sky and the tree. Don't worry about how far along you are just keep going. As you progress more people will find something to say about it. I like the begining.

I like this as well. Great tree and sky. Nice atmosphere coming along.:)

I like the revised one best. The warm sky goes good along with the melted patches around the tree.
You need shadows from the fence i think... nothing hits the ground. Also the ground needs some shapes.. it's kinda ... missing somehow atm ;) Perhaps even make the horison a little sharper in the edges :D

...haven't had much time to work on this lately.
do the bits of snow on the tree stand out enough from the back ground? or are they too bright? let me know what you think. :) thanks.

I really like the sky on this. The parts you've fleshed out are looking good too, but i think you still need to add more definition to the ground. The shadows from the fence should probably be darker, and the tree needs a decent shadow too. Oh and the background still needs sharpening, but i guess you probably already know that...

thanks for the crits and encouragement.
i added some grass around the bases of some of the fence posts because the snow is supposed to be in that sort of partially melted state. i'm not sure if i've over done it though or what.
