View Full Version : Reversing a clip in Trax Editor

I was playing with the trax editor for the first time, and I was wondering how to reverse an animation clip so it plays backwards. Maya help says it can be done with time-warp but it doesn't go into specifics on how. Can anyone help me. Thanks.

select the clip, then go create a time warp on it (Trax Editor>Create>Time Warp). With the clip selected, click on the "graph anim curves" button in the trax editor, which opens the anim curve editor. At the end of all attributes, a new curve called time warp is added. click on time warp, a curve is isolated in the editor with two CVs. Move the first CV in Y to 100 and the second in Y to 0. thats about it.
