View Full Version : Performing transformations on a rig

I have a rigged and bound character that I want to scale down. When I select the skeleton and mesh and try to scale it, it does not scale in a 1-1 proportion (I guess because the object axis are not aligned). What do I have to do to be able to scale such that the relative positions of all objects remain unchanged?
I also need to be able to move the entire rig without affecting the IK handles. Currently, when I try to move it the IK handles want to stay where they are, so if I move my root joint, the character will move with it, but the mesh will defom as the IK handles want to stay put.

try grouping everything together except the mesh. Then scale the group.
