View Full Version : is there a jitter tool for 3ds max?

08 August 2005, 09:28 PM

I am modelling a cushion and want to create some random waves to give the cushion some shape. In lightwave there is a jitter plugin that lets you select a few vertices and click jitter and the points are randomly moved up or down. This is obviously very quick and I wondered if there is a similar tool in 3ds max or another way to add shape to a cushion to get a 'used' look

thanks for any help

Select verts and add a noise modifier. This should do what you want (you will need to fiddle with a few settings to make it how you need it though)
