hi there everybody.
iŽm trying to compile an opengl shader in appleŽs "opengl shader builder", and iŽm quite a newb at this so hereŽs a dumb question:
how can i use this opengl hardware shader in discreet 3ds Max 7.0? my graph board is an ati 9700 on powerbook g4 1.5ghz...

Well, first I better warn you that 3dsmax doesn't run on a Mac.

but arenŽt the opengl shader cross platfroms????

Yes, the OpenGL shaders are cross-platform. I am unware or how they can be read into 3dsmax though. If I were you I would ask if this is possible, and if so, how? in the 3dsmax forum on this site.
